Interesting that you thought about their wool and shearing. Did you notice the ring on the lambs tail, this is done to make the tail drop off after a few months.

Honestly, I did not know about the tail docking part. Just looked up what it was after reading your comment. I’m conflicted about it now. Does it really prevent wool maggots or are we just doing what is convenient for us?

It can get a bit messy if the tails are left on – I grew up on a farm.
