Ignorance brings me to library.

The heating is not working here.

Apportioned only misfortune…

In a damp dusty room…

Rue my decision.

Books alien…

Faulty proud…

My foe?

Me.

A nonet written in response to Mindlovemisery’s Menagerie’s Lucky Dip Saturday Mix challenge, using words from the daily prompts Fandango’s One Word Challenge (rue), Word of the Day Challenge (proud), Ragtag Daily Prompt (damp), The Daily Spur (heating), Your Daily Word Prompt (apportion) and My Vivid Blog (library)

What on earth is a Nonet?… Weejars tells us that a nonet has nine lines. The first line has nine syllables, the second line eight syllables, the third line seven syllables, etc… until line nine finishes with one syllable. It can be on any subject and rhyming is optional.
