We use the camera for many reasons, to make memories, to bear witness, to tell a story, but every once in a while we use it simply as an extension of our eye.
Last Sunday I was parked under the shade of a tree waiting for my son, when I looked up and something in the leaves caught my eyes. I squinted. Was it a pupae or an insect? I couldn’t make out – so I actually pulled out my cellphone and zoomed in for a better view. Some kind of insect, but I don’t know what. I got out, got closer and clicked a picture hoping someone could tell me what it was.
Tuesday Photo Challenge: Simplify
Absolutely gorgeous photos. Love how you’ve zoomed right in on it. Perfect shot for Frank’s photo challenge.

Such a coincidence. I was thrilled when I saw his challenge prompt. Glad you liked it. Although I’m still wondering what insect it was.

Yes, I was going to ask you that. You need an insect expert to comment!
