Someday
your memory wont ache as much
Someday
I wont feel that sucker punch
Someday
I wont want to rail at God
Someday
I’ll pack and give away your clothes
Someday
I’ll take down the notes off your door
Someday
I’ll put your spectacles away
Someday
I’ll have the strength to revisit your grave.
Somedays like this may never come. The loss of a loved one brings an infinite ache.

Very powerful. My mother passed away in 2008, and I waited a year for us all to grieve, and then I began to clean up. Her art studio, looked like she just stepped out for a quick coffee, and her glasses were still placed by her bedside. I really enjoyed your poem. Thank you.
